Description: If the kilometer counter/kilometer meter has failed on your vehicle, the gears shown are usually the cause. Most of the time, one of the gears breaks and the drive stops. In particular, we advise commercial customers to change these three gears directly. After the exchange of one damaged gear, the partner gear wheel -wheel -wheel -daydle often fails a short time later. A long functionality of the drive is secured when swapping all three.
Important: 1. First, determine whether you have installed a VDO or a motometer drive. To do this, take the instrument cluster out of the dashboard and look at the type signs at the back. The specification in front between the tachometer and speedometer is not always correct! 2. The number of teeth of the smaller tooth wreath of type E3 varies from 12 to 19 teeth depending on the model. It depends on many factors (wheel size, gearbox type, engine type, year of construction and much more). A safe assignment is not feasible. We therefore ask you to tell us the number of teeth of your E3 core in the comment field directly when buying in the comment field. Without this information, we will send you the most built gear types.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grab the speedometer needle in the middle and turn clockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything the needle keeps on the wave.
