A notice: With the BMW 6 Series (E24), the E3 gear can also have 17 instead of 19 teeth. With the BMW 7 Series (E23), some have an older drive type with a screw drive. The BMW 20x23 is required here. If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grab the speedometer needle in the middle and turn clockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything the needle keeps on the wave.
