Description:
This is the so-called M caliper. In 911s with a displacement of 2.7 liters, this was installed in vehicles whose chassis numbers are in the number range specified below. The brake caliper is a central component of every disc brake. Defects in the brake calliper are usually caused by rust, brittle seals or increased thermal stress during the braking process. A jammed brake caliper is often noticeable due to a noticeable starting resistance with possible noise and odor development or warping when driving straight ahead. A defective brake calliper means that the brake system is not functional and the damaged brake calliper must be replaced immediately.
This is a reconditioned caliper, which is offered as an exchange.
