Release bearing for PORSCHE Boxster 986 2.5 2.7 Cayman 987 clutch LC
Quality from SKF
Description:
The release bearing plays a central role in the frictional connection between the engine and transmission. The resulting forces can cause it to wear prematurely, so it must be replaced before the clutch is replaced. Premature wear is noticeable through squealing noises when clutching. The thrust bearing should then be replaced immediately.
You can get high-quality replacements here.
The SKF company was founded in 1907 in Gothenburg, Sweden, by the inventor of the double-row self-aligning ball bearing, Sven Wingquist. By 1920, it had established itself on all five continents and is now one of the market leaders in the production of various bearings, seals and lubrication systems.
