Description:
The pressure plate as the central element of the clutch is subject to high wear. The diaphragm spring in particular can have tarnish marks or even break. A slipping clutch can also be a sign of a defective diaphragm spring.
The diaphragm spring of a new pressure plate corresponds to the clutch and its wear condition with its optimum spring characteristic curve, so that the actuating force is always optimum.
