This V-belt is for the air pump of the 911 engines. The so-called air injection is driven by the engine fan via this belt and was used to improve exhaust emissions. Not all Carrera models had this air pump installed, but only those for some foreign markets such as Switzerland or Sweden. The associated engine code for the models in question is 930.26. The air pumps were often removed later on imported vehicles.
