If the oil level sensor in your Porsche is defective, this can be recognized, for example, by a large difference between the displayed oil level and the manually measured oil level. A sporadic illumination of the oil level indicator lamp is another indication of a defective oil level sensor. More modern vehicles can also prevent the engine from starting if the oil level sensor is faulty and store a corresponding error code.

No programming or similar is required after the repair.
