Description:
This is the so-called M saddle. In the case of 911s with a displacement of 2.7 liters, this was installed in vehicles whose chassis numbers are in the number range specified below. The brake caliper is a central component of every disc brake. Defects in the brake caliper are usually caused by rust, brittle seals or increased thermal stress during the braking process. A jammed brake caliper is often noticeable through a noticeable starting resistance with possible noise and smell or through a distortion when driving straight ahead. A defect in the brake caliper means that the braking system is not functional and the damaged brake caliper must be replaced immediately.
