Description:
This piston sits in the left and right halves of the crankcase. To control the oil pressure, this piston is screwed into the engine block via a spring and guide sleeve. If the engine is damaged or heavily worn, the old pistons can show signs of wear and have a negative impact on the engine's oil pressure.

When the engine is overhauled, the screws are often replaced.
