Description:
With this repair kit you can overhaul the shift linkage of your Porsche. You save yourself the time-consuming search for the individual parts.
There are various smaller plastic rings on the gearshift of the 911 F/G models to guide and support the lever and shift rod. The plastic bushes are worn over time and the plastic hardens. The result is excessive play in the gearshift linkage. You can overhaul your gearshift with new bushes and guide shells and sliding rings so that it works smoothly and without play again.
The ball socket of the gearshift is heavily worn by the many gear changes. Play in the shift linkage prevents precise, sporty shifting. In the 911 and 914 models, this ball socket is installed at the front in the gearshift bracket under the gearshift lever.
