The Porsche models 996 and 997 as well as 986/987 Boxster and Cayman have a V-ribbed belt that is guided through two (sometimes identical) deflection pulleys and a tension pulley. These roles differ depending on the year of manufacture, type of transmission (Tiptronic/manual transmission) and engine type. Basically, the 911 turbo has a slightly different console for the belt tensioner. We have identified the right deflection pulleys and tension pulleys for you with complete vehicle details.
